The HLN567W projection television from Samsung DLP TV will thrill you with its amazingly slender 18.2-inch profile and huge, 56-inch display, whose widescreen format is specially configured to accommodate the native aspect ratios of favorite movies. This isn't a garden-variety projection set. DLP, or Digital Light Processing technology (developed by Texas Instruments) allows purely digital connections between video sources and the Samsung DLP TV projection system in front of you. The HLN567W uses a second-generation (HD-2) DMD Chip, which--combined with Samsung's light-processing optics--results in clear, bright, high-contrast images. Further, the DLP panel is insusceptible to the damaging effects of heat, humidity, vibration, or aging, so burn-in will never be an issue--all the more reason to make your TV double as a computer monitor.
